Can I take one bus out and stay 4 hours and take a different bus back

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate split-trip or extended-stop schedules at this time. All round-trip tickets are tied to a specific departure and return time. To ensure we can manage capacity and provide timely service for all guests, please plan to return on the same bus you arrived on.

Do you provide car seats?

As a commercial transport vehicle, car seats are not required and we do not provide them.  You are welcome to bring your own.

What are is your cancellation policy & how do I change or cancel my booking?

You may cancel or change your tour up to 24-hours prior to the start with no fee.  To make changes or cancel, please call our office at 888.204.5301.

Do I have to book in advance?

As our tours often sell out, we do recommend advance bookings.  However, if you are coming off a cruise ship, just stop by our booth and talk to our sales team.

How should we dress?

We strongly recommend that you dress in layers and bring rain gear.  Weather in Alaska is a bit unpredictable and can change from the start of your tour to the end of the trip!

Is your tour handicapped accessible?

Our tours do require a moderate level of fitness as there is some walking on uneven surfaces, and you may be required to climb some stairs.  We do not recommend wheelchairs or motorized scooters.

Are tours suitable for families?

Yes, all of our tours are family friendly and suitable for children of all ages.

Glacier Express "The Blue Bus"

The Blue Bus Glacier Express is the ultimate way to travel from downtown Juneau to the breathtaking Mendenhall Glacier. This narrated journey introduces Juneau’s history and vibrant present. Starting in 2024, the Glacier Express offers a ticketed experience with guaranteed seating. Departing from downtown at scheduled times, the bus takes you to the Mendenhall Glacier visitor center after a delightful 2-hour stay. The schedule is now available online with departure times in our booking calendar. We apologize if you don’t find a departure time that suits your itinerary or cruise schedule.
